How to choose
What changes when you switch to Cardo Maximus
Not one more system: the scattered pieces pulled back into one set of data
No spec sheets, just the things you run into in a normal day: how you do them now, and how they change with Cardo Maximus. You don't replace everything; start with whatever hurts most.
How you work today
-
Spreadsheets, paper and group chats
Start with shop-floor reporting or warehouse scanning
Once one line runs smoothly, add quality and approvals; it doesn't break when people leave, and nothing stalls when the owner is away.
-
Basic inventory software or an ERP for the books, paper on the floor
Keep it, or move everything over
Keep it: orders and books stay put while the floor, approvals and documents move in first. Switch: orders, purchasing and accounting in the same system, coming Q1 2027.
-
One tool for approvals, another for carbon, another for forms
Pull them back into one set of data
With approvals in tool A and production orders in tool B, the AI can't answer a question that crosses systems; with one set of data, one question gets one answer.
Five things in a day
| What happens every day | How it's done now | With Cardo Maximus |
|---|---|---|
| Sales asks "when will this order ship?" | Sales asks planning, planning asks the floor, the floor digs through paper | Status is on the order from the moment it's entered; sales looks it up |
| A customer audits | Dig out paper inspection sheets from three months ago | One lot number pulls up materials, inspections and corrective actions |
| The owner travels | A stack of forms waits for them to get back | Approve or send back from email or chat |
| Month-end reconciliation | One spreadsheet from sales, one from the warehouse, one from accounting | Orders, shipments, stock and receivables are one record (coming Q1 2027); statutory tax filing and payroll run alongside your existing accounting and payroll software |
| Turnover, or a veteran retires | Verbal handoffs break down | Operation records, document versions and approval records are in the system; new hires learn from them |
FAQ
-
What's the difference between ERP and MES? Is it still two things in Cardo Maximus?
Not here. ERP runs orders and the books; MES runs the shop floor; in Cardo Maximus they're one system on one set of data. Production is available now; orders, purchasing and accounting arrive in Q1 2027.
-
We have an ERP. Do we still need this?
Keep it: the floor, approvals and documents move into Cardo Maximus while orders and books stay in your ERP. Or switch: when the transaction and finance core connects, nothing migrates twice.
-
What goes wrong when you run production on spreadsheets?
Knowledge walks out with people, versions don't match, records can't be found when a customer complains, and everything stalls when the owner is away. Under 20 people it holds together; past that, you spend every day hunting for answers.
-
Can we start with just one department?
Yes. Each part can be rolled out on its own; add the next when it runs smoothly, on one set of data throughout.
-
How is it priced?
Pricing follows a free assessment, based on your size and the scope you want to roll out.
